Help Lay My Dad to Rest

Hi everyone,

I’m heartbroken to share the recent passing of my father, Joseph M. Maldonado.

This is something I never imagined I’d have to write, and I wasn’t at all prepared for it.

My dad was a humble, funny, and deeply loving father. He was a beautiful soul who, like so many, carried silent struggles, including a long battle with addiction. Despite that, he never stopped loving us with everything he had.

As his eldest child, I’m doing my best to stay strong for my younger siblings. They need this memorial just as much as I do, a chance to honor our dad’s life, say goodbye, and begin to heal. I want to give him the proper farewell he deserves, surrounded by the people who loved him most.

But the truth is, I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m asking for support from family, friends, and anyone who feels called to help.
